Pls my mother , has hypertension and techacardya , and she normally takes atenelol 50 mg twice a day and her heart beating is settle with medication around 70 plus , but today her plus didn't go less than 98 , and I gave her two more tablets the total dose 3 tablet of 50 mg , and her heart beating don't want go under 95 ?? There is no chest pain or short breath , but still worry why the atenelol doesn't work today ???? Thanks for help

Call her doctor and report this to him/her.

Bring her to a doctor immediately. These are the conditions that need further medical investigation. she is in arrhythmia.
