Hi all,

Am looking for an antique expert that could tell me the age and value of an antique cabinet.

Details:
Chest height
Marble top
Drawers have squared brass hinges
Top has brass little railing
Mint condition

It sounds late Victorian or Edwardian. CAbinets of this age, unless made by someone like a really good furniture maker aren't much of a great value. Probably well under1000 $. The real valuable stuff is colonial AMERICAN furniture, with correct all over woods , proper hardware, nice workmanship (like dovetails and fit glue blocks ).


However, not being able to see anything is like trying to assess a car on the internet.
