Sometimes we get so caught up in day to day stuff, paying bills, jobs, keeping our vehicles running, looking to the future... that one day we may wake up and wonder why "life is grand" So I thought it might be neat to hear (and remind each other) about the things that we sometimes take for granted. What's your top ten?
The best things in life are:
1. Listening to the memories and experiences of others.
2. A child sharing something that they have accomplished, or are excited about.
3. Sunday mornings
4. A quiet house and a good cup of tea
5. Music
6. Sunrise and sunset
7. Hugs
8. Ability to observe
9. Laughter
10. Family

not a list as such, but on my walk to work i pass by the orchard full of trees and blossoms, the house with about a million lilac bushes (all in bloom, some mornings the scent is almost overpowering), the barn where the wild rabbits hang out, and the ditch bank where the song birds hang out
Waking up alive.
Granddaughters
The welcome my dog gives me when I get home
Picking veges and berries from my own garden
Baby anythings
Riding my motorbike through the country on a sunny day.
A hot bath, hot milk, and a warm bed.
Finishing a craft project that has turned out well.
Starting a new one.
How good my kids really are
I hit the lottery in the spouse department
