"Samuel was the first to announce immutability of Yahweh, instead of whimsical and jelous and sorry god.
He took human characteristics from Yahweh. He slowly raised status of God up until Supervisor of All Creation.
With his statements he disturbed dogma of God that favors only rich people.
This gave thousands of poor people a hope for salvation and an opportunity to elevate their spritual status.
Mercy of God - development of idea of older Samuil. Power of God - is a main motif of Samuel's era."
