@arthurx1234,
Unverricht-Lundborg disease - Unverricht-Lundborg disease (abbreviated ULD or EPM1) is the most common form of an uncommon group of genetic epilepsy disorders called progressive myoclonic epilepsy.

@arthurx1234,
It is also a pestcontrol product - ironically one of the warnings is to not allow this product to touch skin.

But interestingly in this article it talks about the long labels and even mentions this infamous Uld

"Meanwhile, John Miln is resigned to the fact that it will soon be almost impossible to sell a woollen jumper without it carrying a label declaring it to be ‘laine’, ‘wolle’, ‘uld’, ‘villa’ and so on. "

However - in reading this -- I do think it is the pesticide sort of thing -- it looks like it prevents moths.

@Linkat,
Forgive me for my laziness and/or confusion but what does uld mean? Does it mean unlined? What does it literally translate to?

@Ragman,
If I were to make a guess - I think it isa chemical code - like H2O or something. I couldn't find anything that the acroynm actually stood for -- at least in the way it seems to be used for wool.

I believe it stands for Hydro-Pyrethrin or some sort of compound that includes this chemical make up. I am not a chemical expert but that is the jist I get out of it.

@Linkat,
My guess is that it means wool in some other language.
