Thanks Cherie. I agree with your answers, but, it makes another wrong..
Clue is: What a Surgeon may have to remove in a very quiet conclusion
before 9...the answer is 8 letters , I had (amputate) which gave me the last T .
Now I have A?P?T?I?.. I hope you can work this one out for me..

I think it should be APPENDIX, which then makes other T wrong.
