There are lots of ways to head downhill from here, but I won't get into them right here, and usually this is as low as I go on A2K.

As you may or may not know, I'm not a completely juvenile person, I just like plain talk, and I like to pepper my posts with colorful (you call them adolescent, but I'd prefer to think of them as colorful) descriptions. And yes, I do like straddling the line of good taste.

Like you said though, some people like it, and some don't. But seriously, how upset can you get about the word "turd"?

I hope you can forgive my adolescent leanings. I'm a kid at heart.

I think so too. The problem is, that the title does bring up some, shall we say, strange images in my mind!

I don't think that just because no one responds to your post means it is a turd. Perhaps it is just funny, but there is no way to respond. Others may enjoy it, but have nothing more to say other than that was funny or that is a good idea. I have read many like that. Typically since I am long winded I only like to respond if I can add something more than "Ha Ha." But after reading this post, I realize everyone likes positive re-enforcement so I will add the "Ha Ha" or "Great idea".

BBB, I don't even remember that one ("Hey, cool links... oh that was ME! heh.") but I think that's a category that doesn't require any particular response. Just an FYI sort of thing.

I've definitely started topics that were going for a response and they either sat there doing nothing or went in a totally different direction. Ah well.
