Yesterday after I inadvertently hit the wrong key all colors are screwed up, everything having black background. How do I restore normal-looking display

Start at "Settings" and "graphic" or "display" or "screen". Not knowing your computer or os.

Yea Bob and thanks for that reminder. I don't know Mac from PC from Apple; so very shortly I hope to hear from my No. 1 Son who knows about that kind of thing so when he tells me what I have I'll be back
