best food ever

Individual tastes are very subjective matter. Cultural differences and availability of fresh vegetables, meats, ways of food preparation spices and so many other influences contribute mightily as to what you consider best. What not state what you have found that you enjoy? There is no way anyone could advise you what is best. This is subject to far too many variables.

Do chickens taste like people?

My grandmother was a fabulous cook. I wish I had her recipe for German Potato salad or even plain old parsley potatoes. I have her sauerbraten, sauerkraut, oyster stew, crab cake and the best corned beef recipe, ever. She was of Irish heritage but as a young single mom in the 1920's she kept house for her aunt who married a German man who ran a big mortuary in Baltimore. Julie learned to make tons of wonderful things while managing the household and caring for my mom, and her 3 cousins. No one could pad oysters like my grandmother. Stories from the funeral home were treasures.
