I cannot get the answer to 81 across which is insinuating S_E_E
I have Extraneous for 36 down meaning irrelevant
I have Accessories for 65 down meaning reserve force
Have I done anything wrong here?

I don't have the puzzle, but it is probably AUXILIARIES rather than accessories. I don't know how that affects 'insinuating'.

Perhaps this is a rare instance of where there's nide to be snede?
