214 dn The clue is Mortgage (4) is this Loan or Lien.
Crossing word 217 ac is Refashioned oneself (10) I have RE????TED.If this reinvented oneself 217 dn would have to be LIEN for Mortgage but it doesn't look right.The other option is Loan and reoriented. Opinions on this would be greatly appreciated.philcottie.

I would go with LIEN and REINVENTED.
Are you anywhere near the fires over there philcottie? I think I remember you saying you are in WA.

Thanks cherrie and James for confirming what I've already found in a hard back dictionary,and to answer your question about the terrible fires no I am no where the fires(thankfully)and our sympathies go out to those affected.philcottie

Hi Jim,
We do have quite a few fires burning in Victoria at the moment, but the one I asked Philcottie about is in Western Australia. Very devastating with about 52 homes lost.
