So Husker, what did your father-in-lw look like after he passed away? The very thin version of Gus without his hat???

Luck for the cowboy and me in finding a little house with a nice garden would be loverly.

Welcome to the A2K Good Luck Thread. Once you enter here, you may receive good luck. But only if you make a post. You can not wish or ask for anything specific. You can only make a post about something you like. If you do, you will be visited with good fortune very soon! Your luck will be guaranteed if you come back once you receive your good fortune and make another post to tell the tale.

But once you look at this thread, you must make a post within five minutes, or you will be visited with the worst kind of luck.

One A2Ker wrote a post here about how much he liked wine. Three days later, he met a beautiful woman, who turned out to be the daughter of a multi-billionaire wine tycoon from Sorrento! They moved into her mansion together on the island of Capri, and have been hopelessly in love ever since.

Another A2ker took a look, and then forgot about the Good Luck Thread. Three days later his entire family was attacked and eaten by a vicious pack of rabid squirrels outside his home while playing badminton. This unfortunate A2Ker now lives alone in a shack, reliving his bad choice and wallowing in his guilt and misery.

So post away, and good luck! And remember, to assure that your good luck streak doesn't end, you must come back and tell the tale of your good fortune!

Now that I opened this thread I cannot even think of not responding, especially when my dogs are always trying to keep the vicious squirrels at bay and away from our deck. Since I'm already wallowing in misery, I'd like to just say how wonderful life can be when you share it with others and do for others. Oh, and I REALLY wish I had a home near Big Sur on the ocean.

I wish that someone I did a good deed for years ago and have long since forgotten would still remember my thoughtfulness and generosity and gratefully bequeath me a substantial fortune in his/her will (U.S. currency, blue chip stocks and/or prime real estate preferred.)

Oh, and since I've long since forgotten who they are, I do hope they die really soon....(but painlessly, of course) Laughing

well, a little update on the UPS thing. If you strew small nails and tacks on the road, this increases your chances of snagging a stray UPS vehicle. Once stopped , they are really quite easy to riffle and search for tubes of indigo. Lots of porn appliances but no indigo so far. However, I am hopeful that Monday will prove more successful.

I believe in assisting in the manufacture of luck.
