Democracy Update

I have heard that much of these issues that people are arguing about incessantly are just side tracks so that the oligarchy can steal away our democracy. These issues are artificially injected into the social dialog by unscrupulous and misled media persons.

This thread is to try and stay focused on our most vital of American rights, the vote, right to protest and right to a fair trial...

We must not forget the right to bear arms also.

Although I certainly agree with restrictions on some of these rights much of them are eroding right under our noses.

Legislators and judges with refrigerators full of cash and shady back room deals are common place today as the republicans, tea party and even some democrats are no longer serving the greater good of the majority of the American people but have sold out to corporate interests.
