I'm a 17 year old girl living in America. I was adopted at the age of 5, and moved here. I love my family now and we all are close, but I always wonder about my biological parents, I was old enough to remember them, considering I was 5. So today I was looking at my Russian birth certificate, I was typing into a Russian keyboard all the letters and then translating them into English thinking that my birth parents names would be reveled, as my parents now told me that my birth parents names where on it. However after translating it, the names of my parents now appeared. Nothing Russian at all. I'm 80% sure this is my birth certificate, however I'm confused why my biological parents names are not on it. Would I maybe have two? ONe from when I was born, and one from the day I was adopted? That is what I'm thinking because my "birth certificate" that I saw has the date I was adopted as well. Anyone familiar with Russian birth certificates? Thank you so much for your time.
