When was it created?

By who?

Why?

When did it start getting a lot of members?

How did the moderators come about, how were they chosen?

What got you to join and regularly visit this forum?

Do you think we should try and attract more members?

This forum deserves to be more popular, should we publicize it more?

Do you like this idea?

Just curious.

I don't remember how, but I'm pretty sure I created the site. There's just this faint memory in the back of my mind...

Centroles: What are you talking about? You couldn't possibly have made this site. You didn't even join until february!

Scoates: (looks a little confused, and a little sad) Oh... I guess you're right... that would be a bit inconsistent, wouldn't it?

Centroles: What! You can differentiate consistency now? Scoates, I'm proud of you!

Scoates: (Beams)

Centroles, Craven de Kere developed A2K with his own talent and $$$$. Most of us on A2K are ex-Abuzzards, and have known each other for over four years or more. Some A2Kers still visit Abuzz, but many of us just "stay away," because Abuzz has turned into a trash chat site. It got many of its members from Abuzz from 'word of mouth.' Moderators were selected on the basis of their knowledge in software programs and abilities in the area of "moderating" A2K. Many newbies post once or twice, then leave. Some never post after they register. All newbies are welcome at A2K, and can remain a member if they keep their nose clean - comply with TOS. Some of us are A2K addicts, and we suffer withdrawal symptoms when we must leave for a few days. Some require mental health intervension. Wink

... and when you go to "Memberlist", that site is kind of self-explanatory to some questions

However, A2K is much older than that:

Since the world is a figment of my imagination, I created it. I also created Scoates, and led him to believe that it was he who did it.

I chose the moderators, and let them think that it was actually someone else asking them. Ah, the power of my mind!

Turner created me, and I created a birdhouse out of toothpicks.

...not literally of course. I mean that as a metaphor.

Sigh! Some people to-day. Trying to put the creation of something so large and powerful on a human head.

Don't we all know that A2K was made due to a rabbit-hamster coalition at the battle of Bosworth Bridge?

Certainly the best. Don't think it's biggest but can't quote figures.

The Hamsters overran the mice (see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for details on the relevance of mice) and, with the help of the first Pet Shop Boy and original Hamster King, Craven, created this site.

At least one rabbit got confused but, as she's now so socialised, the hamsters don't object. They don't like her smoking, quite SO much, but as long as they don't get passed roach, they don't mind having the occasional drag! Laughing
