I'm not a US resident and am writing a story about a San Francisco homeless man.
What is the US unemployment benefit called?
How long does it last?
Can you reapply once it expires?
Does it come in the form of a check, or automatic payment into a bank account?
Are there any requirements for receiving it - ie: looking for full time work?
Any help is appreciated, thank you.
