Russian Culture for All! (no advertising)

Can anyone tell if rumour about opening the branch of Russian Culture Center 'Our Texas' in Lewisville is true? I live in this beautiful place. And recently there are many talks about this Russian Center in Houston. Several years ago I attended the University of Houston School of Art. And I love Russian literature and arts and always wanted to learn Russian. I've got a couple of Russian acquaintances living in Lewisville. They speak English well. And they appear to be very nice people. And their language sounds for me beautiful and mysterious.
But now I'm a married woman and have a little daughter and cannot afford to go learning to another place. So I'm looking forward opening 'Our Texas' branch here. Always wanted to read Dostoyevsky's 'Short Story' in source language. And when my daughter grows up we could go to some guided tour to Russia together. I think knowing the language would be rather handy there.
