@saab,
During the Victorian era, when combing and brushing their hair, ladies saved combings in decorative jars. The hair was woven into brooches, pins and other jewellery.

I like that.
Put away in a closet I have champerpots, washbasin, jug, small plate for soap and other items. I like them - just glad I do not have to use them. We did before we had water in our summercabin.

I have a vintage potato ricer in rather ugly condition; looks somewhat like this

People still use these - but I don't.

I have one in a drawer, but did not think anybody would use them. Still you can even buy them - one just like mine.

Iron where you put coal in the end of it to keep it warm enough to iron.
