Will we make it?

Will we succeed to switch-over from CO2 to other sources of energy, thus avoiding sure death ... and extinction of the human species.
The famous formula of B.G. about the CO2 is
CO2 = P.S.E.C
P - the population of the Earth (over 7 BN at present)
S - the services we use - electricity, communications, TV, internet, transportation, etc.
E - the energy per service
C - carbon units per unit of energy
... and this should not be zero (as B.G. claims), but equal to the processing capacity of the vegetation on the earth, the ocean, and the soil.
How can we fix all this mess with the CO2 ... without 'vaccinating' people ... and without falling into hysteria?
