Hi,
I amn't native speaker in English.Just started to learn English.
1,How to find a syllable in a word?Is there any method to determine?
2,How to pronounce a word ,when to stress?

Raj that's really a good q, one I've pondered. The rules apparently get complicated:

I'm not sure Raj whether you're asking about the stress on a syllable or on the word itself. If the latter, also a good q. I've noted the TV actor who apparently doesn't quite understand an occasional line, will accent the wrong word
Eg, with several others standing around: "You're asking me?" he'll stress one of the first two instead of the obvious "
me?"
