Help...competition closing soon and am stuck on a couple which I thought would be easy.
66a: psalm book. Put in psalmer but 60d is definitely atavistic so I need to keep that first 't'. Psalter doesn't look good.
137a: Liar. Have fa-a-i-t.
Also, for 117d (lush green growth) I had 'verdant' but with 142a (patron saint of England) being St George I lost the 't' to become the first 'e'.
Stuffed if I know.
@boofy,
You might try FABULIST for 137a
@Lustig Andrei,
Thanks so much. Fabulist was correct and I was able to change Verdant to Verdure.
@boofy,
Psalter is right, found it somewhere. Liar is a fabulist. Verdure for lush green growth. It does help sometimes having about 20 different dictionaries ! Cheers Braino. Still need more myself
