Troubleshoot an HP 5500 Deskjet Printer

Hewlett-Packard's 5500 DeskJet Printer was designed as a space-saving device by combining commonly used office machines into one compact package. Not only does the 5500 print in both black and white and in color, it also features copier and fax capabilities. The 5500 is fairly straightforward to use, but problems with either the software or the printer itself can occur. Fortunately, the source of most common problems can be identified quickly, and those problems typically take only a few minutes to correct.
