A black man dressed in all black wearing a blk mask stands at a crossroads in a totally black painted town. All of the streetlights aren't working right now. Suddenly a black painted car without headlights drives straight towards him. How does the driver know to swerve?

It was daylight at the time and he had no problem seeing the man in time to swerve.
