Hey! I was just hanging around outside the A2K chat room.

I was kind of bored this morning, checked out some of the threads going on here, but nothing really piqued my interest. I sat there, drumming my fingers on my desk, wondering what to do next, when I happened to notice the sign for the chat room.

"What the hell", I said to myself, "might as well check that out."

I entered the room, a bit hesitantly, and found myself in a lobby outside the chat room. There was a sign that said if you wanted to enter you'd have to subscribe.

I checked my pockets to see how much cash I had on hand -- 12 cents, not enough.

I sat around in there for about an hour, trying to figure out what to do. Another sign on the wall said "Zero members in chat room" but that was a bunch of bull because I could definitely hear muffled voices. It sounded like Husker and kickycan were arguing about something and I think I recognized ehbeth and possibly Ceili.

I figured if I hung around in the lobby someone might walk through to enter the chat room and I would just sneak in with them. Either that or when someone left the chatroom, I'd stick my foot in the door and get in that way.

Nothing. Nobody came or left.

I'm gonna head back in there in just a minute. I just thought I'd let you people know where I was, in case anybody's looking for me.

I think Craven and Phoenix and Jespah did a hell of a nice job decorating in there.
