Hi puzzlers
49a. Window canopy GA?LE. I know that this has been answered already however , my husband dosen't think GABLE is correct he has been in the building businessand can' t remember a window canopy ever being called this.

126a. Arched roof =. GABLE

I would have put GABLE for this.
Arched roof is probably VAULT.

agree with both cherries answers.
I too had a problem using gable but went to dictionary.com and after scrolling down to WORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY found.....a triangular ornamental feature in the form of a gable, esp. as used over a door or window.

Now that you mention VAULT. it seems t make sense.
Don't now if this happens to you, but once I get a certain word in mind I then get stuck on it.
