Silly me! However clue for the word that crosses this at the A is UK socialist club member = FINIAN. all other letters match except the above mentioned, what do you think?
ARONDAL fits in with all my other clues any other suggestions?

This has already come up in another thread - a FABIAN is a member of the Fabian Society. APODAL means "without feet". Worms and snakes are apodal.
