The most important ( and least expensive) part of losing weight is eating less. Try cutting about 300 calories a day. Mostly that can be done without spending any money. Stop drinking soda, cookies, candy bars, fruit juices. Eat less bread, rice, pasta.
Then you can start exercising more. Try adding 300 calories of exercise a day. Walk 3 miles a day. If you do that you will lose about 1 pound a week.
