An expanse of poured concrete is increasingly being regarded as a surface to be colored or decorated. Concrete can easily be made more interesting by incorporating dyes. A simple way to do this is to mix concrete dye into the cement before it is poured, called integral color. The dye penetrates the entire body of cement so color isn't lost through chipping or wear. Different pigments are used for the wide range of colors available. The amount of dye added to the cement depends on the pigments used. If anyone knows anything about this please share with me.
