Are there any easier skateboard tricks to learn than the ollie?

Hello Friends,

Are there any easier skateboard tricks to learn than the ollie? I have tried to do and ollie but, i am not sure if it's me or my board that is stopping me from doing it. I can tic tac and ride fine. My board is a basic set up though it wasn't a wal-mart k-mart board or anything.
Anyone know any easier tricks?
