l am having a problem with a couple of clues, 44d AC?I??)which l think is ACTION, but then the N would come in the middle of the cross word of 75a clue being armed helicopter,which l think is AIRSHIP, but if the 44d is correct 75a will be aiNship,which does not mke sense.also l have a few others that l cannot find, might well be wrong letters but here goes
18d hunger (I??H)
25a knee-length stole (TI?P?T)
175a pochahontus husband,neither SMITH OR ROLF fit, my letters are (S?L?E)
179a sent in high arc (LO?I?D)
123a hypercitical talk (C?NT)
some of my letters just have to be incorrect,but would appreciate some help please.thank you.

@James34,
Thank you james34,whereabouts in norfolk, we lived up there from 1972 to 1984, in feltwell and outwell. Now we live in south wales, and have at least 10/12 inches of snow, the car is just like a snowdrift, the birds are the only ones out and about, we keep them in plenty of seeds,fatballs and other stuff that they need.Hope we do not get housebound again, the last two winters we have for about three weeks each time. Keep well,keep warm. Thank you again for your answers,they fit nicely. ttfn

@philcottie,
Hi philcottie
Snow, something that seems to happen in wintertime, and surprise we never seem prepared for it. Saw the fires in NSW, on TV, devastating. Feel so much sympathy for people who lost everything. James

@James34,
Thanks for your nice little message, tried to send reply but it came up with, we do not know and have no person of that name, so sorry about reply, l never actually went to where you live but my kids did,hows the weather there,we havve had 10/12 inches i n the backgarden,but it is thawing a bit,but the low temps at night freeze it all again, so next morning it is a skating rink.ttfn
