move movies downloaded from itunes to kindle fire HD

Hi, I just bought a Kindle Fire HD last night and wanna put my downloaded video and pictures on it. I have lots of movies downloaded from iTunes, everytime I tried to move them to the tablet, it refused to do that due to the DRM protection. What did that mean? I cannot transfer any of movies to the tablet?
