I am a 19 year old currently on a gap year and very interested in politics. Doing work experience in the Civil Service, House of Commons and an internship at a think tank has allowed me to witness politics from quite different views. However, I now have a lot of free time and would love to sink my teeth into a politics related project and would love if people could be kind enough to comment possible projects I could do in the next few months? Thank you so much.

Well, I enjoyed studying the role of parliament and Government and the effect the Civil Service and indeed individuals or special advisers have in terms of influencing the Government. Also investigating how accountable politicians are. In terms of policy the departments that most interest me are the Ministry of Justice and the Business Department.
