I'm debating whether to buy Dragon Naturally Speaking. Is it worth the cost if I have windows speech recognition that accompany Vista for free?

@hinesecedrela,
I use Dragon for lots of my tech writing. Ive found it wonderful since I have no abilities t avoiding typing mistakes. Ive found that the last version (2012) has taken less time to train the program to recognize and adopt spelling for many of my spcial tech words.

Ive ued it to compose memos also and these are a breeze. The only fault Ive found is that I have to do brutal editing because , when unfettered by the limits of my poor typing, I tend to be rather prolix in my "Writing"

@hinesecedrela,
Version 12 of Dragon is stunning, probably a bit better than they advertise.
