Help, I cannot understand the definition of the direchlet distribution.
Can anyone tell me what are the prerequisites to acquire in order to understanding it, please ?

I know that a multivariate random variable is a vector of random variables where there may be correlations among them. But I can't figure out what the vector α represents ?
