Hello friends,
Developmental math is mathematics taught to college students who need remedial or developmental skills before moving onto college-level work. Developmental math students have different needs and requirements than typical college students: they have often entered into college lacking basic math skills, and many may have an inherent dislike for the subject. That's why it's important to center instructional techniques around variety and technology, to appeal to as many students' learning styles and tastes as possible.
