Do you ask for your pet's permission before you touch him or her?
If not and you touched the pet without its permission, you're a pet molester and deserve to be savagely eaten.

@ossobuco,
What up man.
I just got back from the hospital. My neighbor's kid went into my room without permission and probably did something stupid with the poor snake, and got bit by my pet boa sitting on my table. He asked for it and he got what was coming for him.

@Atom Blitzer,
I'm not a man.
Anyway, animals vary. Some relate more to humans than others do.
I don't know anything about care of boas in captivity. I could argue that kid, likely ignorant and exited about touching a boa, should have been protected from meeting the boa. I know, the boa is in your home, or I suppose it is your parents' home, but there should be safeguards.

@Atom Blitzer,
He's ok by the way. The doctor took out a broken tooth and cleaned it up good. He probably won't see me or my pet the same way again, sad really.

@Atom Blitzer,
Good - I took it that way, or you would have said otherwise.

@Atom Blitzer,
Broken tooth sounds bad enough, but how's the kid?

@ossobuco,
I have comforted her now. She was uneasy after the incident.

That kid now will now probably go around spread bad rep. about boas.

She is red tail boa, 4 yrs old and about 5.5 ft long and she actually sniffs for me and come towards me. She know who I am and has no fear around me. But she's very nervous with strangers, and people don't see the signs of a scared snake. I'm surprised that she actually bit.

She has a 8 foot glass cage, but she doesn't like to be contained and gets cranky. So whenever I'm home, I let her wander around my room.

@roger,
I called him, and told him to come visit tomorrow so I can properly introduce him to Nessie. I think he is a bit shocked, but maybe I can change that. He declined the invitation, I apologized.
