Where the mobile technology leads the society?

One by one the changes in mobile technology are being brought to make the methodology of society easier and smoother. At the beginning, mobile phones were just limited to communication but today they have become smarter with the lots of inbuilt features and applications and also able to access internet. Anybody can get information on his/her mobile gadget. My question is that what the new changes which are being happened in mobile technology that leads the society to be more advanced.
