Thanks for the suggestions Dutchy. Most of your answers fitted but 8d didn't fit as 5ac was Pays up front for future issues on returning bus to writers (10). I'm sure the answer for this one is subsidises. So branches won't fit as the third last letter has to be an "s"..
57d : honours doesn't fit either as the clue for 61ac was "Prejudiced when I got into bed (7). I believe the answer to this one is biassed, which means the second letter of the answer for 57d has to be "S". Any more suggestions?
