This is my pattern but can't find the solution, driving me nuts. Any help greatly appreciated.
STOLYF - unscrambled I have 'softly'
TOHOTP - unscrambled I have 'hotpot'
SPHIRM - unscrambled I have 'shrimp'
WAASLY - unscrambld I have 'always'
INITEV - unscrambled I have 'invite'
That leaves me with the highlighted letters FPTSIAYNE out of which there needs to be a word created. Can't find which one it is.

Hey Toby, just before I came back onto this site, I had the light bulb moment. Thanks so much for confirming the answer for me, I appreciate it. Would you believe I sat there nearly throwing the pencil across the room until I saw 6,3 then realised. I actually came back on to ask if safety pin was right and you were there before me.
