Two to go that I'm stuck on.
14a: Goes to test DNA somehow. Have A-T-N-S. (Have just this minute wondered if this could be "attends". Am only about 80% good on cryptics.
25a: The maximum penalty in Britain for killing this bird is 6 months in prison or 5,000 pound fine. Have S-A-.

Hello. Your 14a answer is attends. Your answer to 25a is eyas. It cannot be swan because it would not fit in to the answer at 7d which is monopolies. The E in monopolies is the first letter in the answer to 25a. Hope this helps

At 7d you should have monopolise which will give the letters for swan for 25a
