The way I worked out TEACHES was, account =ac into these. Rearrange those letters and you get teaches which is the same meaning as coaches. Hope this helps.

gday 42d is teaches which is an anagram of these & ac
the clue says 'these' is used to enclose ac ( short for account) for coaches
part of the the sentence is the clue the other part is used to make the answer
