Original Acrylic Art by Seikichi Takara

We acquired this artwork from a friend (no papers of authenticity), but I was able to send a picture to Takara's nephew who had some of his uncle's works for sale on eBay a number of years ago and he did reply that "yes, this piece was one of his uncle's paintings." It is signed on the front slightly to the right on the bottom front of the painting. On the back is written:

Does anyone have any information on this piece? It is in a round gold painted frame with a few areas that appear to have been scratched. The painting itself looks to be in excellent condition. Thank you for any information that anyone may have on this unique piece.
