Understanding that we are soul like completing the first phase. When this understanding comes, the relation with god also come. We all as soul are part of SuperSoul that is God. The characteristics are same but its incomplete. like we are river water and God is ocean. water is same. But he is abundant. When we understand d soul and its connection with God, things become simpler. We come to know what is God. But its difficult to explain the same way its difficult to explain the taste of water or fragrance of flower. We know but we cant explain. We know happiness but we cant explain ........to be continued...

Agreed. But if it starts with a question (which it does), then it's got a "bait and switch" flavor to it. Quite distasteful (as most sermons are).
