l am a bit stuck with 21a,clue give off which l think is EMITS,but that would mean that the second letter of 11d is a S,so what is a suckerfish with an S as a second letter, need help please.
How many letters do you have for that suckerfish?
If give off is exude, then you can make remora..

Look carefully at the clue; it says 'give off' (infinitive of verb) so the answer most likely has to match, and 'emits' is the third person singular.
The clue isn't 'gives off'.

Thank you Strauss, l thought that suckerfish was RAMORA,now thats done,have the lovely job of filling in the pencil with pen, lovely job, makes the eyes cross,but its got to be done, thanks again

hi Margsy for your and others information lovatts have now decided to accept Pencilled in copies of thier puzzles provided they are neat and legible.This is confirmed in several issues on the letters pages.So hope this helps you Taffy.

Scuse me philcottie, l may live in wales but l am a bristolian at heart, but definitely not a taffy, ask my welsh daughter in law.Thank you so much for letting me know about the pencil entries, l have been using one of my hubbys pencils he uses when sketching out his paintings before he actually paints them.Thanks again, xx
