Flash Player disappears

Every time I switch off my computer, the Flash Player no longer works when I switch it back on. I have to download and install, again, Flash Player, in order to be able to play, for example, a Youtube clip. I am guessing that there is some setting on my computer that is causing this. Please help me to resolve it. Thank you.
