Has anyone ever used a medical vending machine for their pharmaceutical supplies? These machines use controlled access which can be helpful in keeping track of the hospital inventory.

Not exactly vending machines, but I have seen dispensors that require the nurse to scan the patients' bracelet. It then checks the time sense last dosage before dispensing the proper med.
