Need help on this one PLEASE.
73 ac the clue is Intervening (8-2) I have ?M?P?ING?N.
293dn the clue is Set off 6) I have CA?S?D.
325 ac The clue is stirup(memories)(8) I have R?A?A?EN.
97 ac the clue scrunch(^) I have C?E?SE.
270 dn the clue is front(5) I have FA?T?.
Been working on this one for two days with no luck.

Thanks jespah but the clue for 73 ac was for 8-2 letters whereas impinging on has 9-2 will check the rest out later wat-ya reckon dutchy I'm confident you wll know philcottie

Thanks l4trainee Stepping in certainly fits and by altering 68 dn to stash and 98 ac to hide.Now all i've got to do is turn the page over and find the vowels in monster starhunt as I cant get started on this one.Yes I am an old silly phily how droll.philcottie.

have vowels for you , A=18, E=22, I=1, O=9, U=18.
could you please tell me the answer to 48 across (monster colossus) it's driving me insane. I have teed (up) and dont think that it can be right.

thanks l4trianee now I can get on with it.For 48 ac I also have TEED you may need to check the crossing words I.E.49 dn is EASED,50 dn is DRAMAS,1 dn is AFFRONT and 2dn is APOSTLE.Best of luck philcottie.

Hi l4trainee you have made a mistake in the vowels thing look at a18 and u 18 what are the correct combinations I somehow think that "U" is wrong If nobody can answer this might try a new thread.philcottie
