You go, girl! It's your birthday! <doing a little dance, as seen on TV>

Benefits of turning 40

1. Color-coordinating walker
2. Won't have to pretend to fit in with the thirty-something crowd
3. Nursing homes start to look appealing
4. You're almost a grown-up
5. Future: Afgans and All My Children
6. Declare young children must respect their elders (in form of cash gifts
on your birthday)
7. Only twelve more years until your college loans are paid off
8. Can finally relate to Paul Newman movies
9. You're half way to being a golfer
10. Start to wonder how much longer you'll have to work in that hell-hole
before they recognize you for the genius you are and offer you early
retirement

BBB! I AM AMAZED!!! HOW did you find a painting of my floating gazebo in Venice?! See? BPB and his band are playing inside, and there you are flirting with a gentleman admirer. And, of course, Gus is there. He is all "Gussied" up for the occasion, and welcoming the guests. Ah, the wonders of digital photography....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MONTANA!!!

I know it's very cold up there now and very difficult to garden, so I thought I'd give you someplace to work until spring arrives. It is being shipped to your place now. Hope you can pick out a good spot for it.

Gautam, Willow, Noddy, Dag, Eva, and Bigdice.

Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes. You guys are awesome :-)

Eva
You are a woman after my own heart with that gorgeous greenhouse ;-)

((((hugs to you all)))

Unfortunately, my birthday didn't start out very well. I called my ex today to find out why my child support was late and he tells me that he lost his job, which means no more child support. This has put me in an aweful spot and I am not happy with the way my 40's have started :-(

And more birthday wishes from Germany!

Happy birthday, Montana!

Here in our region of Germany, people say you finally turn smart when you turn forty. I'm not so sure if it worked for me... :-)

I'm a bit fatigued from non-stop...... errrr... donating. Many thanks to Slappy for the use of his collection of Swedish Naturist magazines, I especially enjoyed the articles.
