Just checking, for 167d, has everybody got "Peacocks"? because if is correct, I just can't find anything to go in 194a "Folds". I've got T_K_S
I'm a Yank, we don't get the puzzles, but we like to try to guess the answer from the clues you provice us--seems to me "peacocks" was a recent correct answer to someone else probably working the same puzzle recently. Could your cross word be "tucks"?

167d = PEACOCK, no S!
194a = TUCKS, C should fit with the C from peacock.
