I have one of the tank models with a hose attachment and several type of nozzles and mop heads. For the annual Spring cleaning around the house, nothing beats it.
For the weekly cleanings, it is a pain in the butt to drag out, assemble, use, disassemble and return to storage. I'd go for one of the smaller, hand-held versions for frequent, small jobs.
As for the steam mop you ask about, they're mostly single purpose cleaners. For the better value, you'd be better off purchasing a steamer that has multiple purposes, such as one that has many attachments and nozzles.
